Event Management & Stakeholder Coalitions

We organise the rooms where Africa's trade, safety and security get decided.

TAEMS PIVOT Ltd designs and secretariats summits, trains institutions, and builds multi-country coalitions — including serving as Secretariat for the Africa Coalition Against Fire Extinguisher Smuggling (ACAFES).

What We Do

Four disciplines. One secretariat.

From the summit stage to the stakeholder register, we handle the operational backbone that makes multi-party initiatives actually work.

01

Events & Summits

End-to-end design and delivery of conferences, seminars, and summits — programme design, logistics, protocol, and delegate management.

02

Buyer–Seller Sales Assurance

Structured summit formats that de-risk trade between buyers and sellers, with verification, documentation, and assurance built into the process.

03

Coalition & Stakeholder Management

We recruit, onboard, and coordinate coalitions of NGOs, government agencies, and private-sector partners across multiple countries.

04

Training & Capacity Building

Skills-building programmes for institutions and field teams, designed to translate policy into practice.

Africa Coalition Against Fire Extinguisher Smuggling

ACAFES unites civil-society organisations, fire services, customs, and drug-enforcement agencies across Africa against a threat hiding in plain sight: the fire extinguisher cylinder.

RISK 01

Drug Trafficking

Extinguisher cylinders intercepted as concealment vessels for illicit drugs moving across borders.

RISK 02

Small Arms Proliferation

Cylinders repurposed to conceal and move small arms undetected through checkpoints.

RISK 03

Fake Device Dumping

Substandard and expired units dumped across borders, sold as functional safety equipment.

RISK 04

IED Misuse

Cylinders adapted as components in Improvised Explosive Devices — a documented national-security threat.

What ACAFES Does

  • Convenes national fire services, customs, and drug-enforcement agencies across participating countries.
  • Builds a civil-society monitoring and reporting network for smuggling and trafficking incidents.
  • Supports harmonised import, servicing, and compliance standards regionally.
  • Delivers an annual Anti-Smuggling Summit, hosted in rotating member countries.

Why TAEMS PIVOT

Built to run the room, not just book it.

01

Multi-country coordination, handled centrally

One secretariat, one point of accountability — across every country, agency, and organisation involved.

02

Aligned with national verification systems

Our campaign work is informed by national fire-safety authentication and compliance frameworks, connecting policy to practice on the ground.

03

Built for follow-through

We don't just deliver events — we structure the coalitions, forms, and reporting lines that keep the work moving after the summit ends.
